Experimental Consultation
The scientific team of the CAM provides consultation for researchers planning animal experiments in the area of diet / feeding trials / metabolism.
Diet composition and nutrient content influence the whole organism in different ways. It is therefore important that the diet(s) chosen for an experiment are suitable for the research question. In case of feeding trials with an experimental and a test diet, thorough consideration is necessary to choose adequate diets and accordingly the trial set-up.
Animal nutrition is a whole area of research – in the CAM, we have the expertise to provide advice in all questions regarding diets and their impact on the animals. It is also possible to assist in the nutrition-/metabolism-related part of an experiment (conduction, data curation, interpretation).
